Dr. Allyson was awesome with my boys! My 4 yr old already told me, when we got back in the car, that he liked her and that he didn't get scared of her (dentist). My 18 month old one was hesitant and resistive at first bit eventually let her check his teeth and even started calling her, "doctor? Doctor..." when it was his older brother's turn to be seen. Overall, they had a pleasant experience. The staff were great too! From front desk to the assistants to the hygienist to other employees. The place too looked and felt calm and relaxing. The kids were happily playing while waiting to be seen. Thank you Dr. Allyson and Kirby Smiles staff!

I had my first appointment at Kirby Smiles yesterday after it being highly recommended by a family member. I can only say my experience was phenomenal, yes phenomenal. There are so many bad reviews for dentists on the various Pearland FB community sites, that I wanted to write this one and share my great experience. My appointment was for a new patient apt for teeth cleaning and X-rays with a new patient special of $129.00. That is where TIFFANY comes in. I was scheduled with her to do my teeth cleaning and boy am I glad to discover someone who is not only passionate and knowledgeable about her job, but she was also a prior dental hygienist teacher. After her exam, measuring all my teeth pockets, many x-rays and thereafter review by her and Dr. Hemann, AND pointing out to me ALL the areas of concern, I went forward with a deep cleaning- part one on my teeth. Part 2 scheduled next week. Dr. Hemann was kind, courteous and personable during her exam and even conducted an oral cancer screening on me - yes, you read that right- an oral cancer screening which no dentist that I have ever been to has performed. My entire experience was a 10, even having to meet with their office manager was a 10 regarding my dental insurance . If you are looking for a GREAT dentist and hygienist, I found them and highly recommend them.

First time here today and everything was great! I feel like I finally found a dentist office that truly cares about your oral hygiene. Everyone was so friendly and no wait time for my appt. My dental hygienist was Tiffany and she was amazing! She took her time and was very thorough. Honestly, was the best teeth cleaning I have had in years! The dentist, Dr. Hemann, is so nice and talked me through the oral cancer screening process of which no dentist has done for me in Houston. Overall, 10/10 experience today. This office is a very rare gem, highly recommend!

The staff here are wonderful. They are gentle. Unlike other dental offices they don't snow you by telling you that you need a "deep cleaning" or sell you expensive unnecessary mouthwash for the bleeding gums that are only bleeding because the staff jammed a sharp metal instrument into them.

I took my niece to her appointment because her mom was at work. The greeting I received from walking in the door was very pleasant! The lobby is absolutely beautiful! Not to mention there was free coffee and water. We sat for 4 minutes and was called back! Yes, I was allowed to accompany my niece. The young lady that started on my niece was very nice, made her feel comfortable. This lady even started singing to relax my niece taking her pictures. She got her teeth cleaned and even got a prize. If you are looking for a dentist to make you feel at easy and that all your concerns are listened to and explained, this is the dentist for you. I have a medical condition, that for years other dentist would not work on me, Kirby smiles took to time to understand the condition and made me very comfortable moving forward with all my dental work. Dr. Hemann’s office is extremely clean & aesthetically pleasing… you forget you’re in a dental office when you’re in the beautiful lobby (and the rest of the office does not disappoint!). All of the staff are friendly and warm; they make you feel so welcome and comfortable. And Dr. Hemann is the icing on the cake! I’ve never felt so cared for and heard before. I’ve seen more dentists in the past 2 decades than I can count on both hands, as a result of mouth trauma from college sports. Dr. Hemann explains everything before she proceeds & checks to be sure I’m not in any pain. I’ve never had a dentist be so attentive to my needs. She also did so well with my 2 year old when we took her in for a cleaning recently. Pretty soon, she’ll be seeing our whole family!

My son was seen by Dr Alyson, she was extremely patient, kind, friendly and very knowledgeable dentist. For the annual checkup and cleaning, I visited this office. Stacy was my hygienist, and she did an outstanding job cleaning my teeth. She was friendly and gentle, and she walked me through all the steps, answered all my questions, and gave me recommendations on how to floss and brush, which I never received from my previous dental office. I can't say enough about my experience at Kirby Smiles. Everyone is so friendly, helpful and accommodating. You can feel that they genuinely care about your comfort. It really meant a lot to me that the receptionist remembered me from when I scheduled the appointment. The office itself is warm and inviting and doesn't feel like a dentist's office at all. I have been to plenty of dentists in my time and I have never seen a dentist that was so thorough in her examination and explanation like Dr. Hemann was. She answered all my questions and never once made me feel that she was in a rush. She was delicate when working on my teeth which was a change from all my other experiences. I also wasn't pressured into doing any unnecessary services. The whole time I felt comfortable and relaxed. Even my 3 teenage kids loved being there and that's saying something for a dentist's office. They have the TVs on the ceilings which my kids loved. Kirby Smiles-BEST DENTAL EXERIENCE EVER!! When I first arrived, it's like going to a "Spa", because the reception area is so warm and inviting and smells so nice. Carolina, the receptionist, got me checked in (who by the way, was super friendly!!) and incredibly fast! Next up was Dental Assistant, Glinda who took care of my x-rays-I was laughing because she kept asking me, "are you okay/does this hurt?". Literally took three minutes. And then....I had an OH MY GOODNESS MOMENT with Jessica because I had never had my teeth cleaned by a Hygienist before. WOW. What a neat feeling, as she "power-washed" my teeth. LOL. Then Lauren, the other Dental Assistant came and her and Jessica assessed the health of my gums. And this was all before I saw the Dentist!! And then I saw the wonderful Dr. Hemman, who was so incredibly nice and patient and talked to me about the health of my teeth and gums BEFORE looking into my mouth. That meant a lot to me for the Dentist to talk to me first. She is such a gentle soul. Well...I had some issues, so we put a plan together that I felt good about. Lauren walked me to the front desk, and I made my follow up appointment with the lovely Carolina. Going to the dentist has never been so easy!!

I came to Kirby Smiles based on the recommendation of many many many people from the shadow creek area. I have always been very reluctant to go to dental appointments and often skipped out on them because sometimes I felt that other dentist were wanting to make money off of me, and also because If I ever had a procedure done, it would be painful. I decided to give Dr. Ilustre and Kirby smiles a chance. From the moment I walked in, the front staff was extremely professional, nice and comforting. The place was extremely clean, and there was absolutely no wait time. Dr. Ilustre and his staff were very kind and respectful. My comfort was top priority during the first appointment and every other appointment since. Dr. Ilustre is very knowledge, and takes the time to give you all the information you need, explaining everything and answering any questions you may have. Based on this information, he gives you the chance to make an informed decision. During my procedures, Dr. Ilustre would pause every few minutes to make sure that I was not feeling anything and to make sure I was not in any pain. They are so wonderful to the point that when March madness was on, Carolina (I’m sorry if I spelt it wrong ), one of his front office staff, logged into her personal streaming account so I can watch the game of my choice while Dr. Ilustre worked on my teeth. I truly feel like it is family here, and I am one of their family members. Any time I have an issue, they are quick to answer phone calls and emails. If you are looking for a dentist in the Pearland or Clear Lake area (new location that’s opening soon), I ask you to PLEASE give Dr. Ilustre the chance to be your dentist. I guarantee you that you will not want to go to any other dentist after him ! I have now truly been more consistent with my dental care thanks to Kirby Smiles. Kirby Smiles! All I can say is WOW! Walking in it feels like you’re going into a spa. The office is very bright, has soothing colors and doesn’t feel like a dungeon or torture lab. After years of travelling to Houston to see my former dentist, I decided to try Kirby Smiles after my wife had a great experience with them. The entire staff is excellent, I was able to book a new patient appointment and had my first visit. The exam room was very clean, all the instruments were unpacked once we were in the exam room. Dr. Ilustre is the 3rd dentist I saw for the same small emergency. While my experiences with the other 2 dentists were pleasant, my time with Dr. Illustre was simply amazing. First the office looks right out of a HGTV magazine...super clean, contemporary, and feels like you're just lounging in your own living room. Secondly, the staff is super friendly. Last but def not the least, Dr. Illustre is one cool dude. Down to earth, personable, transparent and caring. I took my 9 yr old son here for a cosmetic flipper due to an accident. He lost his permanent front teeth due to the severity of the accident. Having anxiety (root canal) from previous unpleasant experience; I have been frantic of dental work. Kirby smile depleted my worries . Very precise and detailed oriented, (Near perfection). During the process they explained, show pictured, to showed why they chose that plan for your dental help. First time I have went to a dentist and felt 100% comfortable and assured I was in good hands. Shout out to Dr. llustre and GILDA am truly thankful.

Both Dr. Ilustre and Dr. Hemann's chair side manner is wonderfully comforting. The newly constructed office is beautifully decorated with encouraging words to uplift your spirit, the receptionist is kind and happy to assist patients/clients, and Gilda, an aspiring dentist herself, is the office dental assistant with lots of comforting charm. Dr. Hemann examined and cleaned my teeth all while I was watching Netflix overhead. If you are looking for a new dentist, you should schedule an appointment at Kirby Smiles. I am a real patient that had an appointment last week. Also, I usually do not write reviews, but knowing how important it is to have a comforting dentists, I decided to write a review. Lastly, they did not encourage unnecessary dental services or treatments...love that. Happy teeth cleaning!!

The good experience started right when I called for an appointment. I heard about KirbySmiles through a friend. I had lost a filling and they worked me into their schedule. When I arrived everyone from the front desk through to the staff who took x-rays and all my information were very professional, courteous and friendly. Dr. Ilustre went over each step and gave me all the options. He was very knowledgeable and personable. Dr. Ilustre also repaired another filling that I had received from another dentist over 10 years ago and had a chip out. Both look wonderful! He is gentle and patient, so, if you have a fear of getting dental work, this practice is for you. There prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend Dr. Ilustre and the KirbySmiles practice!

I had my first appointment there today. Dr. Hemann was so nice and professional. I liked her "wait and watch" approach to my older fillings and crowns . The staff was courteous and professional too. The equipment is all new and state of the art. The waiting area was very clean and fresh, though I didn't have to wait. I would recommend this place to anyone.

I have been with a certain dentist office for over 17 years and my dentist retired so I knew I would need to find another trustworthy, reliable, “not trying to have me doing dental work I don’t need” dentist. My 7 year-old is the first to transition to this office but I know for sure I WILL be transitioning my entire family here!! The office is clean, kid and adult friendly and the staff are amazing!! They did a great job explaining everything that he was doing and listening to what I had to say. After seeing many different dentists I can say that Dr.Ilustre and his team are the best I have seen and I will continue to go there and would highly recommend them to anyone.

I am the worlds worst dental patient. I'm nervous, fidgety, I cry and might reach toward the dentist. However, when I walked into the Pearland office of Kirby smiles a calmness came over me. It was almost like being in someone's home. The décor is like none I've ever seen at any doctors office. And that's from the front door to the treatment chairs. The receptionist was very pleasant and reassuring. I did not even have an appointment and Dr. Ilustre met with me and convinced me that if I made an appointment I would be in good hands. "GOOD HANDS" is an understatement. I didn't think anyone could compete with my fears. He has explained necessary procedures and I look forward to coming to my appointments so that my teeth will once again be picture perfect and I can chew almonds again. All I can say is thank you Dr. Ilistre.

Very nice office including a comfortable waiting room with snacks and drinks. Kids play area available as well. Saturday hours are great to accommodate work and school conflicts. Dr. Hemann was very professional and helped make the whole experience a breeze. Everyone was very pleasant to deal with and were very concerned with patient satisfaction. Highly recommend!!

A little bit of a drive for us from Clearlake but so worth it! I booked appointments for my whole family (myself, my husband, and 2 teenage daughters) to get cleanings and we had a great experience! The office was beautiful, the staff was very friendly, and Dr. Hemann was very thorough and professional while still managing to be kind and gentle. Kirby Smiles had a very family friendly atmosphere. We will definitely be returning!

Dr. Hemann has been a great dentist and made my dental appointment as comfortable for me as if I was family. Typically being very anxious of any dental work done to me, Dr. Hemann took the time to explain her plan and answer any questions I had. She also saw my 3yr old daughter for her first exam/cleaning. After her cleaning, she gave Dr. Hemann a thumbs up!! Definitely recommend Kirby Smiles for your entire family dental care.

This is one of the best dental experiences I've ever had. The moment you walk in, you're met with beaming staff members and an expertly designed waiting room with decor and seating that makes you feel right at home. There's a small cutaway section made for small children (and vending machines with toys for younger patients inside the clinic!) which makes the office especially family friendly. Above each of the dental chairs is a TV that helps ease the anxiety of being at the dentist and keeps you distracted from what's going on in your mouth (Side note: I love a good Disney movie - Bolt was on while I was in the chair!). My appointment was with Dr. Hemann and I'm nothing short of impressed by her professionalism and dental knowledge. She took the time to walk me through a proper treatment plan after I came in looking for a second opinion and she's clearly very empathetic and kind, always putting her patients and their well-being first. One huge takeaway that I feel is a sign of great things to come for Kirby Smiles is Dr. Hemann's openness to educating her staff and her staff's willingness to learn. Her assistant Gilda was quick and unafraid to ask questions of Dr. Hemann during my visit and Dr. Hemann was very receptive to these teaching moments. That kind of curiosity from the top down and an open learning environment, coupled with the positive vibes I felt all around gives me the confidence to highly recommend Dr. Hemann and Kirby Smiles to anyone and everyone looking for a quality dental experience. I will definitely return!
